Here at the GG Tribune, we maintain a strict journalistic philosophy that ensures we are providing you with the most accurate and ethical reporting anywhere. That philosophy is as follows:
Straight from our sources.
Always timely.
Taking industry leaders to task.
Interesting scoops and angles.
Real. 100% real news.
Excluding below the line workers.
The GG Tribune was born when the editor and two writers at Hard Drive Magazine decided they had enough of the fractured state that games media had become. Fed up with how corporate interests were killing the thing they loved, they made something they could call their own and where they could give other writers a fair shot. Vowing to create the best independent worker owned gaming publication around, they started the GG Tribune. This goal was achieved almost instantaneously. Within one day of being founded, the GG Tribune became so successful that they were bought out by venture capitalist Lawrence Laihoff, aka. Layoff Larry. Now the GG Tribune continues to bring the hardest hitting scoops in all of games journalism, so long as Larry approves.
A Word From CEO Layoff Larry:
As a self made millionaire, I know what it takes to build something. After all, I took the 50 million dollar trust fund my father gave to me and single handedly turned it into 55 million all thanks to compound interest in investments that I had my minimum wage assistant make. When I heard the story of the GG Tribune I knew I had to own it and turn it into a dynasty. Not only because I know that owning a gaming publication is the hot new thing among my class of people but because I truly believe this is a group of people I want to be exploiting while they make me money. I will eventually pay them. I can’t say exactly when but it’s definitely happening. Eventually they will get the money I owe them and until then I expect they’ll continue to do work. Rest assured they aren’t working for free because I’m totally going to pay them at some undefined point in the future.
