Pride Month is a time of inclusion, and nowhere is that seen more than the servers of Final Fantasy XIV. With a playerbase already teeming with members of the LGBTQIA+, an effort has been made to reach out to cisgender and heterosexual players.

One player, Gโ€™ayha Tia, is spearheading efforts to get the message out on the Crystal data center.

โ€œItโ€™s okay to be straight!โ€ Gโ€™ayha regularly posts from his perch in Limsa Lominsaโ€™s aetheryte plaza, โ€œCisgender is valid too! We see you, and youโ€™re welcome here!โ€

Fashion mogul Itsy Bitsy Mitsy is hard at work preparing hetero-friendly glamour for newcomers to her Free Company.

โ€œIโ€™m trying to keep the gear plain and boring,โ€ Mitsy says, โ€œnot that thereโ€™s anything wrong with being plain and boring. Some of my best friends are straight guys whose whole gaming setup is red and black.โ€

Another player, Big McLargehuge, is trying to spread the word on social media.

โ€œItโ€™s important for all of us to reach out to members of the cishet community and let them know they have a safe space in the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV with an expanded free trial which they can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn as well as the award-winning expansions Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers up to level 80 for free with no restrictions on playtime.โ€

At press time, plans were being made to host a Straight Pride Parade consisting of Ford F-150s modded into the game.
