GALLOPOLIS, Erdrea — The whole of Erdrea is celebrating as the Sultan of Gallopolis declared this month to be Sylvando Pride month to the throngs of people hit by Sylvando Fever. People are dressing up in bright colors and huge pink feathers, mincing about with smiles on their faces. It is truly a sight to behold.

The celebration kicked off Tuesday with an extravagant spectacle of a parade, led by sword swallowers and ball jugglers, followed by a sea of brightly colored dancers, dressed in feathers. This culminated in Sylvando, riding on his palanquin, reaching the palace to be met by the Sultan.

“There’s something about this circus performer and friend of the Luminary,” said the Sultan to the colorful crowd of onlookers. “I don’t know what it is. He has such a vivacious energy. It’s infectious! He makes you question things about yourself you had never considered before. Things that were buried for years but only surface when around Sylvando The Great! All hail this master showman–this spectacular specimen of a man!” 

Sylvando’s acceptance speech was very brief.

“You all are darlings. Party at my dad’s house in Puerto Valor all month long! Dress code: fabulous!” he shouted to his adoring fans cheering in the streets.

Not everybody is for this celebration, however. Mordegon, The Dark Lord, tweeted in protest of the celebration.

“Sylvandos are unnatural and decadent! Sylvando conversion therapy for all Sylvandos! Sylvando prances around all over making people smile with his ‘kindness’ and ‘charisma’ it makes me sick! People should feel awful all the time!”

At press time, Mordegon got his ass kicked by Sylvando.
